David W. Krumsiek
David W. Krumsiek is a co-founder and managing partner of Perry, Krumsiek & Jack, LLP, and has practiced law in the Greater Boston area for nearly twenty years. His practice focuses on business transactions, commercial and residential real estate, land use and zoning, securities litigation, civil litigation (including business and real estate litigation, personal injury, premises liability, wrongful death and professional malpractice), employment law (including wrongful discharge, employment discrimination, ERISA claims, severance and executive compensation), and appellate law.
Mr. Krumsiek has considerable experience litigating cases in the Massachusetts Superior, District, Housing and Land Courts, the United States District Court, and administrative hearings such as those of the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (formerly National Association of Securities Dealers). He has taken over forty cases to verdict, and participated in dozens of arbitrations and mediations in alternative dispute resolution forums. He has argued numerous appeals in the Federal and Massachusetts Appellate Courts as well.
Mr. Krumsiek also has a wide range of experience with commercial and residential real estate transactions, representing individual and corporate real estate investors, mortgage brokerage firms and lending institutions in the conveyance and financing of property throughout New England. Additionally, he has advanced and argued numerous petitions on behalf of large hotel, retail, and restaurant clients in connection with zoning, licensing and permitting matters, both at the state and municipal levels.
Mr. Krumsiek currently resides in Westwood, Massachusetts, with his wife Julie and four children. He is actively involved in that community, serving as Chairman of the Westwood Zoning Board of Appeals, of which he has been a member since 1999.
Mr. Krumsiek is a member of the Boston Bar Association, the Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts, the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys and the Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce. He is also a real estate title insurance agent for First American Title Insurance Company, Stewart Title Insurance Company, Chicago Title Insurance Company and Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company.
