Richard has extensive experience in food and drug law, business law, intellectual property, and commercial litigation. He has represented food industry clients in regulatory counseling, FDA compliance, advertising and product claims, new ingredients and product development, food safety and security planning, food labeling, food packaging, supplier and co-manufacturing relationships, product recalls, FDA enforcement actions, competitor challenges, and consumer class action litigation.

Richard teaches Food and Drug Law at Suffolk University Law School. He is also the former Associate General Counsel for Welch Foods, Inc.
