William D. Mahony
William D. Mahony has practiced law in the Boston area for over 20 years. Bill is both an attorney and a Certified Public Accountant. He received his undergraduate degree in accounting from the Boston College School of Business, and received his law degree from Suffolk University Law School. Bill’s areas of expertise include sophisticated estate planning, the probate of estates, and tax planning for businesses and individuals, as well as the handling of tax matter resolutions with both the Internal Revenue Service and State tax authorities.
From 1982-1987, Bill was a member of the tax departments of Coopers and Lybrand and Deloitte and Touche, two large international accounting firms. Since 1987, Bill has been in private practice in the Greater Boston area. Bill’s estate planning practice varies from small simpler estate plans to large estates with intricate issues and myriad planning opportunities, specializing in the reduction of estate taxes.
Bill currently resides in Sudbury, Massachusetts with his wife Amy and their two children.
