Corporate & Securities

PKJ’s Corporate & Securities Practice is led by Cheri Carper Bennett in Washington, D.C., and by David Krumsiek in Boston.

Ms. Bennett began her career at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Division of Corporation Finance.  She later worked in the corporate securities practice of leading law firms, Patton Boggs LLP, K&L Gates LLP and Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP.  Prior to joining PKJ, she also served as Associate General Counsel at E*Trade Financial Corporation.

Mr. Krumsiek, a graduate of Boston College Law School, has practiced law in the Greater Boston area for more than 15 years.  He has counseled small, mid-sized and large businesses in a range of corporate transactional matters, ranging from entity formation and the drafting of by-law, partnership and operating agreements, to assisting clients with sophisticated mergers and acquisitions or asset sales.  Prior to founding PKJ, Mr. Krumsiek practiced in the Boston office of Preti Flaherty, an 85-attorney firm based in Portland, Maine.
