PKJ offers banks, insurance companies, lead arrangers, and other financial institutions globally representation on a variety of issues.  PKJ’s attorneys have advised financial institutions on a range of finance transactions including: syndicated and club lending facilities, asset-based facilities, accounts receivable financing and factoring, acquisition financing (including mezzanine financing), structuring of bank funding products (such as structured deposits and complex cross border financings), debt restructuring, and many others.

Representative Experience:

• Advised the counsel of the bank syndicate’s mandated lead arranger on certain structured finance and tax aspects of the acquisition facility for a leading U.K. private equity fund’s acquisition of a global brewing conglomerate’s Eastern European assets.
• Provided structuring advice for capital markets products and lending facilities for large corporate and institutional clients of a major regional European bank, including the structuring of advantaged financing facilities and liquidity products, (such as hybrid financing structures, structured deposits and similar products).
• Provided advice to the bank club mandated lead arranger on the structuring of the €100 million refinancing facility for the leading Eastern European integrated pharmaceutical distributor.
